Hi! My name is Giovanni De Caro (but my friends call me simply Dekaro) and I was born in 1971 in Benevento (Italy), a cute but sooooo boring city that forced me to travel to keep safe my mental sanity (tough I don't know if it worked... ;-)
When you travel, you start to make pictures and soon you learn to do it, in fact (a part a small course at ICP of New York and a module at Westminster University of London on Photographic Avant-garde) I'm an autodidact. As someone said (I don't remember who): "My university has been the street".
