Hi! My name is Giovanni De Caro (but my friends call me simply Dekaro) and I was born in 1971 in Benevento (Italy), a cute but sooooo boring city that forced me to travel to keep safe my mental sanity (tough I don't know if it worked... ;-)
When you travel, you start taking pictures, and soon you learn how to do it well. In fact, apart from a short course at ICP in New York and a module at Westminster University in London on the Photographic Avant-Garde, I'm self-taught. As someone once said (I don't remember who): "My university has been the street."
